ARTWORK GUIDELINES

Good artwork is absolutely critical to the success of creating high quality promotional packaging. Everyday we handle artwork for gift bags, boxes, ribbon, giftwrap, labels, etc.... so we have a pretty good idea of what is required to provide you a quality product. Consequently, until you provide us with artwork for your project that we can review, there is no way for us to know if you have "good artwork".

If you don't have good artwork, we will ask you to go back to your customer with specific instructions for revised artwork. If your customer doesn't have good artwork, they have two choices. They can either pay someone to produce "good artwork", or we can attempt to manipulate the artwork you provided. A resonable amount of artwork manipulation is done by our art department on a no charge basis. They will make an effort to fix or create artwork, but if the effort required goes beyond what we deem reasonable, there may be art charges. However, we will always contact you with a cost estimate prior to your incurring any art charges.

We could go to great lengths trying to address all the complexities of artwork involved in promtional packaging, but the easiest way for everyone concerned is for you to e-mail us your artwork, so our art department can make an evaluation.

Artwork can be e-mailed to us at:   admin@adornpromopackaging.com. We prefer to receive eps or pdf files of your artwork. If these formats are not available, send us what you have and we still may be able to utilize it.

ARTWORK CONSIDERATIONS FOR HOT-STAMPING:

The quality of Hot-Stamping is significantly impacted by all of the following items:

  • The quality of the artwork.
  • The surface texture of the item being hot-stamped.
  • The color of the item being hot-stamped.
  • The color of the foil being used for imprinting.
  • The type of foil being used - matte or metallic.
  • The amount of foil coverage .
  • Are there heavy elements and fine detail in the artwork? One or the other is ideal.
  • Does the artwork require hot-stamping a lighter color foil on a darker colored material?

If we are not comfortable with the combination of all the items above for your project, we may ask you to approve a production proof, or we may provide you with alternatives for consideration.
